Their press release sums up the advantages and main specifications very nicely:

Apacer Technology Inc., the leading memory manufacturer, releases the latest super-speed A7 Turbo SSD with 128MB cache memory and a multi-channel synchronous transfer mode. With a sequential read/write speed of 230/200 MB/sec, A7 Turbo SSD128/256 GB effortlessly breaks through the speed bottleneck of conventional drives and exceeds the amazing 1500X performance. Moreover, the ultra low 0.26W average power consumption ensures longer battery life for the laptop while operating in full speed.

The drives are using Samsung controllers, but representatives from the company have hinted that these might be replaced by Intel controllers in the future, since performance levels are apparently comparable. An interesting detail is that these drives come with Apacer’s SSD+ Optimizer that can be used to improve performance; Apacer calls it a defragmentation utility, but from the description it sounds more like a garbage collector.

Pricing for the drives is not officially announced yet, but the 256GB model will supposedly retail for around €600, and the 128GB model will be available for around €335.
