OCZ just launched a new product as part of their Enterprise label: the Deneva series of SSD’s. These appear to be aimed at OEMs; OCZ offers these in a variety of interface options (SATA, SAS, FC and PCI-express) and all sorts of form factors.
One relatively new thing is the availability of a model that includes a supercapacitator which will power the drive long enough to save all data in its cache in the event of a power failure.
Looking at the rest of the specs for these new drives they appear to be largely similar to the Vertex 2 EX and Vertex 2 Pro that were revealed last week. They are based on the latest Sandforce 1500 SSD processor, achieving a throughput of up to 285MB/s for reads, 275MB/s for writes, and up to 50.000 iops when writing 4KB blocks.

I would rather use the PCI Express version of thier SSD’s; don’t need to pay for “supercaps” on this SATA SSD, for what I’m doing, UPS is sufficient
