Xyratex reported today that it expects revenue for its fiscal 2009 third quarter ended August 31, 2009 to be approximately $247 million. Their CEO is pretty pleased with this figure: “The third quarter benefitted from better than expected sales across our product and customer portfolio, indicating improvements in the overall economy and the relative strength of [...] Where Winchester Systems was the first company I noticed that included 2 TB SATA drives in their storage systems, Xyratex announced today that they are offering Hitachi’s 7.200 rpm 2 TB drives.
